We put up our Christmas tree and once we were done, it started snowing. So, next year, I'll just put up the tree earlier if I want snow earlier. ;)
Emma and Abby were playing in the playroom when it started to snow and didn't see it until the ground was nicely covered. So when Emma discovered it, she TORE through the house yelling, "Dad! Dad! Dad! Snow! Snow! Dad, snow!!!" Of course they had to open the door and look at it and Brandon handed Emma a little snow. Abby said, "I want a little snow for my hands too." So Brandon gave her some and she promptly threw it at him. ;)
This is just a cute picture of Noah that popped up so I put it on here.
Getting ready to play in the snow. It is 7pm ish so I knew they wouldn't be out there long and didn't bother with gloves. Look at Emma's face. This is the child who last year was very worried and said, "Oh no! Snow on my swing!"
It was still coming down. I think the blur on the Right is from the heater vent by the door fogging up the lens.
Isaiah can hardly move. hehe He just walked around.
He makes me think of that kid in that movie...(lol, yeah, descriptive I know) who licked the flag pole and got stuck...with all the coats.
They LOVE it!
The Playroom Christmas tree. We surprised Brandon's flight one year by decorating the lounge with this tree and silver balls and a star for the Air Force. Well, we inherited the tree. It looks funny in blue so I put toys on it. ;)
Our tree. It looks so much prettier than the camera can capture.
More like this...less blur. lol
These aren't very good. I was trying to play with the camera and see if there was a way to capture the lights at their best and still get good pictures of the kids...there isn't. You have to be really, really, still. Something Abby is only just beginning to understand.
They need to invent a camera that does this. haha
See how still they are?
Our tree has mostly balls on it. But we do have each year's ornament to sum up the year. Kind of. This is for this year. 2010...
This is the Christmas before we got married. Right before. Seriously. Like, you know from Dec 25 to Jan 1...so it's our first Christmas together...kind of. You get the idea. A friend's mom made it for us.
This is our other first Christmas. First after we were married. 2005 It's a Texas Santa. ;)
This one is for 2006. We went to Disney World in Jan 2007 and were given this Mickey ornament so it's for 2006. Get it? It was about this time we started collecting an ornament a year.
2007. Charleston ornament. It's a horse drawn carriage and it says Charleston SC in case it's too blurry to see. (I write the date on them somewhere if it isn't already there so I won't forget.)
2008 Also in Charleston so it is a C17 (the native plane Brandon spent most of his time around)
Um...a star. I like it so you get to see it.
Oh, and we have Jesus on our tree. Balls and each years ornaments and a Jesus. We do know the real reason for the season.
2009 We spent a lot of time in prayer last year for jobs and money and whatnot so this ornament sums up that year. This one is super hard to photograph. It gets blurry every time.
My favorite Tree topper. :) We found it one year. I LOVE how it sums up the real reason for Christmas. ;)
Another Jesus (I think I need to make a few more for the tree)
Our nativity looks nice here
And now I have to change 2 diapers so I'll stop showing off my tree that you probably didn't want to see as much as the snow anyway. *wink*
