First snow of the season

*Or at least, the first snow to stick on the ground... we have had some snowflakes that were melting at about the level of our eyelashes*

We woke up to snow.  More precisely  we woke up to the kids racing out of the house to play in the snow.  When I had grabbed the camera and come down, Noah had already gone outside in his t-shirt and diaper and boots and had come back in.  That was all it took for him to be done with the snow.  (We're going to see if he likes it better with the proper clothing on today.)

So you can see how much we got.

and with the trees and fence and ground

Emma had put on this outfit to play in the snow.

...and this is her idea of a better outfit...added capris under her skirt and socks on her hands.
We have a serious lack of gloves in this house.

I took a few steps into the snow
and remembered I was wearing crocs.

Abby actually put on pants and a scarf and coat

"Isaiah, don't you think you'll be warmer with a coat on?"

He's crying because the snow is sticky and wet not powdery and he has huge clumps stuck to his feet.

See, it was early.  The sun was still rising.

He loves his sister

With the top Sarah made her.  :)

I don't know how to flip pictures on here.
Isn't he a clown though?

The second wave of snow
