SNOW!!!

Here we all are waiting to go outside. Abby remembers snow from last year so she's super excited but this is Emma's first experience with snow.

Can't you tell this little girl loves the snow?

Emma's first reaction says, "So far, so good. I don't know what to think but I have my favorite coat and my drink so I'm good."

Abby says, "These gloves are just getting in the way."

The snow blew in in drifts so part of our yard had no snow at all and part of it had knee-high drifts. Here the girls are trying to walk in the drifts.

Emma isn't crying but she isn't really sure about the snow either. She can't move in it at all.

Daddy is having FUN shoveling our walk even though it will all melt off by noon anyway. :)

Our house. It looks very small from the outside but it is bigger once you go in. Would you believe we have two stories and an unfinished basement?

Abby

"Can we go in yet?" Still not crying but not very happy with the snow.

"Smiling" for pictures.

Abby and Brandon had several snow ball fights. She was having a blast! She kept giggling and laughing and squealing with delight.

Abby kept falling down in the deep snow but she liked it. I think she might have been playing like a puppy here but I can't remember for sure.

"Please, take me in....Please...."

We went in the house and Abby got to go right back out the back door and play in the backyard snow.

"I am NOT a snow dog. Can I go back to South Carolina?"

These are some tired children. Look at the sleeping all cuddled up together. Usually they sleep foot to foot on this twin bed but I guess Abby thought Emma needed company.
