Abby and Emmaleigh... Best friends already!

Everyone asks me if Abby is jealous of Emmaleigh. She isn't showing any signs of being jealous. She doesn't care if she's not getting held or played with because someone is playing with Emma. She thinks Emma is her baby. Right after Emma was born, my dad wanted to hold her but Abby was like, "My baby!!!!" and she has remained that way ever since. She kisses Emma all the time. She will even give her a bed time kiss when she won't give any of us one. She brings Emma toys and throws them into the bassinet for her to play with. She is constantly keeping tabs on where Emma is and she greets me in the mornings (nearly every time) with the words, "Baby! Baby! Emmy! Baby?" She loves her sister! She is going to be such a sweet big sister to Emma because she's already doing so well.

Emmaleigh is probably 7 pounds now. We think she dropped down to 6 but we aren't certain. She didn't have a single problem with jaundice although she did have a little bit of it, but it didn't keep her in the hospital or even cause them to tell us to feed her more or suplement formula or put her in a window or anything like that. She gets gassy sometimes and that plus the alergies that are stopping up her nose make for long nights but mostly she is a good sleeper when those two problems are not affecting her. She is becoming more and more alert.

Brandon's good. Mostly he can't tell me much but he's doing well and we do get to email and call a little so we do have some contact. He seems really busy and stuff but at least he's not in the thick of the fighting and that's a blessing.

Everything else is going well too. I'll try to update you better next time. I've got a crying baby to attend to.
