I was wondering what the other kids were doing at the age that Noah is now. (Noah is just almost 7 months old) Where they sitting up yet? Were they scooting? Crawling? I went back and looked at old blog posts.
Abby:
Sitting kind of propped up:
Beginning scooting stage. I remember we had just moved to the new house and she took like 30 minutes following me from room to room on her tummy while I was packing. She was not great at it and didn't enjoy it but she was doing it! :)
Emma:
I'd forgotten how quick a learner she was.
Sitting up in this toy car without help. All by herself! (Noah is TOTALLY NOT ready to do that yet. :) )
STANDING! Clinging for dear life, but STANDING! Wow!
Isaiah:
Flopping over. Haha! Silly boy!
Sitting with support. Not really scooting around. I could put him on the floor and he would stay there. Even two months later he was sitting but not really moving much on the floor. His motivation was food. When Brandon was eating ice cream near him, he took off! But that was "much" later.
Noah:
Don't worry. I am not comparing him because I think he's behind. I actually think he's right on track. :) He's sitting kind of propped up like Abby did. He can scoot on his tummy if you help him keep his feet down (which means he can't do it alone). He can't stand like Emma was but if you put him on your lap, he will support his own weight for a minute or so. Yes, he still flops over. :) Yes, he still stays in one spot if I put him on the floor.
